Just wanted to let everyone know that the email servers on my web host are no longer working.
Everything stopped working yesterday evening.
Trying to resolve it with the hosting company, but of course they won't admit it's their environment that is broken.
Thant means no one will get notifications of new forum posts, etc.
Hopefully I can get it all working again soon.

ha!! I am having issues with a hosting company myself presently. Nothing is ever their fault, until its their fault, then its your fault for not figuring it out, then they put a disclaimer stating their hosting site is down when you already them that the F'N dolts. Fun times, hope the resolve their stupidity shortly for you.

Just got a reply from them that they are "aware of the issue", but there is "no time for a resolution".
So at least they know now (and tacitly admit) that their environment is broken.

Email from me to hosting company:
"So what does this actually mean? You are aware that there is an error with
the SMTP server in your environment?"
From them:
"That is correct. We have a known issue with the SMTP server at this time"
Been two days now and still no resolution.

lol Dave one of our three hosting companies were down most of this week, its back up now but was 4 days. Here is hoping they get it fixed for you.
