I noticed today that the amazing Canuck Audio Mart which all us Nucks use for used Hi Fi sale transactions is now open for free usage in the USA.

I saw that. Pretty cool for CAM, but I still prefer to try whenever possible to buy from Canadian sellers. Importing stuff from the States is just such a rip off.

Oh absolutely. I ordered some stuff from Parts Express the other day and got bent over and taken deep on the shipping. I am still walking funny. LOL! I don't even use Audiogon at all as most people will not ship to Canada based on the hassle and Paranoia alone.lol.
That said, for our American friends I think USAaudiomart will be fantastic. Having stuff shipped to the US from Canada is not as bad as the other way around but still an annoyance so now they have an even better site for shopping.

Not to mention that when we buy something in a private transaction among Canadians, we pay no tax, but as soon as it crosses the border, BAM.... 13% tax, as well as the BS brokerage fees.

LOL friggen Brokerage fees. There must of been a time where shipping stuff between our great border was trouble, and worry free. I dont get it.
